“A few hours before his magnificent concert at NDK, where he ‘attacked’ the stage with his fire violin, and he took over everyone with his charisma, talent and sense of humor, Ara met with EVA magazine. While enjoying the spectacular view of Sofia from 85 meters above ground level at The View Restaurant, the Armenian musician born in Lebanon with a Spanish passport shared that even though he is in our country for the second time, in Bulgaria he feels at home”. The View received an award for being in the Top 3 from the competition organized by MERTO Bulgaria “My favorite restaurant in Sofia” during the opening ceremony of Gastronomix. It was handed by Juli Velev – Chef of METRO Academy to Gergana Manolova, co-owner of the restaurant.

“I am very excited to receive this award on behalf of our whole team”, she said during her speech. She thanked everyone, who supported The View in the online voting, and highlighted that the award is prestigious because of the huge competition of 1017 restaurants that participated.

Gastronomix is taking place between November 7th and 10th in Inter Expo Center during SIHRE and collects under one roof the best in the sector.

“Awards for debut, interior and culinary achievements, eight new wines with the brand Augeo Family Estate, all with medals from wine competitions, and 15 marriage proposals at the premises. This is the sum up since the last time we visited the 300 degrees view over Sofia, “served” at each table. And here we are again 24 floors up in the sky, not only to see the city in autumn colors, but to taste three symphonies-in-dishes from the seasonal menu of The View”.
