One year ago today, on July 13th, The View Restaurant opened its doors to their first clients. Since then The View became known for a great place for meetings with friends and loved ones, for family and corporate lunches and dinners as well as organized events from business breakfasts to cocktails for 400 people. Twelve couples decided to become a family at The View and several already had their weddings there. The realized events are several hundred – the restaurant welcomed as many clients as the whole population of Iceland!

The View’s team prepared birthday surprises for all of their guests who visit today. Welcome and celebrate along with us!

“If I have to rate The View, it definitely deserves 5/5 stars! Fantastic views from the heart of Sofia, elegant and exquisite atmosphere, the food is delicious and on a high level, the service is professional and overall the experience is memorable. These and many more descriptions are not enough to describe the atmosphere as it can only be felt if you are there in person.” What Dennis Topov wrote for the debut of his rubric for interesting places worth visiting you could read (in Bulgarian) here: http://www.denistopov.com/vecherq-sred-oblacite-v-the-view/

“The innovative interior predisposes the visitors to see the urban atmosphere in a new way, which takes the pleasure of dinner on a new, higher level. Thee view over Sofia by night is incomparable. If you are looking for an intimate secluded setting that delivers a unique panoramic view over the capital city, there is no better place.” Find out what NoviteNovini wrote about The View (in Bulgarian) here: http://novitenovini.com/raiskata-gradina-nad-sofia-the-view/

Go Guide traced the transformation of the menus of their favorite restaurants, including The View of course. Here’s what they wrote about us:

“In addition to the amazing view that allows you to see all of Sofia, The View impresses with seasonal accents on the fresh and seasonal products, turned into dishes that could not be found at other places. The View is the first place where you could taste the four new wines from the portfolio of Augeo Family Estate, which complements truly the dishes, prepared by chef Kaloyan Dobrev, a la carte Chef.” The whole article (in Bulgarian) could be found here: http://goguide.bg/zavedenia/368-Sezonnite-iastiia-na-glavnite-gotvachi-v-Sofiia

The View’s Chefs Iliyan Kostov and Kaloyan Dobrev came back home after their studies at the prestigious culinary school Le Cordon Bleu Paris charged with new energy, ideas and inspiration. They successfully completed different courses – from a chocolate workshop through the art of making sauces to vegetarian cuisine. They received diplomas for each course and got several sets of branded aprons from the school. You can see them wearing them at The View.

Soon a new special set menu will be revealed in the a la carte menu of The View, which were created by Kaloyan after the courses at Le Cordon Bleu were completed.
